PURE like to push the functionality boundaries with their new products and their latest handheld is no exception. They've taken the PocketDAB 1000 and given it a good going over making it lighter and better looking with more functionality. If you're looking for a handheld DAB radio then this is definately worth considering.
The PocketDAB 1500 is a very pocketable proposition as PURE have managed to pack a DAB Digital Radio and an FM radio into 22mm wide package that weighs in at just 123g.

However far from being just a radio it also boast all the latest DAB technology including automatic tuning, 20 station presets, station selection by name and scrolling text showing track titles, artists' names and sports results. It also offers textSCAN technology which allows you to pause the scrolling text information the broadcaster provides. There's even RDS on FM for station name display and scrolling text.
