The official colour definition from pure is Cherry. The use of natural products (wood veneer) inevitably introduces some colour variation. Photographs can also make it difficult to judge colour.
This radio is not made in a walnut version, which is a darker brown, and lacks the red tint associated with cherry. The Tangent radio is produced in walnut - if you would prefer a radio that colour.
If you do not like the colour, you could return it, assuming it is in new condition (see our returns policy)
You could connect an external aerial to the radio.
