I already have 2 Evoke DAB radios, one looking exactly like the IS. The other one is a different design and will only pick up FM signal if very caefully placed. 2 questions: what is the quality of this one's ability to receive Radio 4 FM without a struggle and what is the length of cord and size of transformer for mains adapter? I do NOT wish to use batteries ever.

The pure Eco Plus power supply is smaller than the one supplied with earlier models, but the length of cable is roughly the same.

the ability to recieve radio stations will depend on the signal strength in your area. There are no major updates to the radio in this regard.
