This radio is the complete bedside music centre. You can use it as a radio or use the Aux In socket to plug in your MP3 player to enjoy your own choice of tunes. And when you're ready to listen to the radio you have 2 choices - find a station on DAB Digital Radio or use the digital FM tuner.
Even as an alarm clock the Gemini 29 gives you plenty to choose from. When setting the alarm you can choose whether to wake up to the radio or a standard buzzer sound. And as a dual alarm DAB Digital radio you can set it for one of you to wake up to Wogan and the other to wake up to Wayne (or whatever you local DJ is called) half an hour later. Then of course you can choose whether to wake up and switch the alarm off, or snooze for a few minutes before you have to get up. In addition, the radio has a "nap timer" that can be set in intervals of up to 2 hours when you need a quick refresher nap.
The other choice you have with the Roberts CRD-29 you keep the sound to yourself by using the headphone socket or urn it up and play the audio out loud. All in all this radio really lives up to its Gemini name.
