Oozing character and quality Vita Audio's R2 DAB/FM stereo is a must for anyone who really listens to the audio from their music system, and can identify true class when they hear it.
Like the R1 the cabinet for the R2 is manufactured from quality fibreboard (a material renowned for its excellent acoustic properties) clad in a choice of real wood or high gloss lacquer finish. These finishes combine perfectly with the cool contoured steel panels and woven wire mesh grilles for an effortlessly stylish look.

The R2's eye-catching design undoubtedly adds grace to any living environment but on sound terms it also turns in a beautiful performance. Twin high-fidelity custom made drive units allied to class leading electronics with 3D sound processing and variable EQ provides a scale and quality of sound that belies its compact dimensions.

The R2 also features Vita Audio's Rotodial which makes operation simple and intuitive. Rather than a confusing mass of controls there's a stylish and easy to use 'RotoDial' user interface making the R2 beautifully simple to operate. However in addition the R2 comes with a compact remote controller that enables all major functions of the R2 to be operated and set from the comfort of your chair or bed.

On the front panel there is a headphone socket and a line input so an MP3 player or any other audio device can be conveniently connected. While on the back there's two pairs of high quality gold plated phono sockets. The first pair provides outputs for recording and the second pair provides an additional input for the permanent connection of a CD player or more likely an MP3 player or iPod dock. This connectivity makes the R2 highly adaptable and offers the ability to incorporate the R2 into a complete audio system.

Adding further to the R2's appeal is an easy to use alarm with sleep and snooze functions. It also uses a modern and compact switch mode power supply which works with AC voltages ranging from 100-240v making it truly universal.
