carol asks: (2009-10-20 17:41:05)
How does the touch screen work? Can you add radio stations via the touch screen? Or is the design rather more complicated than that?
Thanks, Carol

Chris says:
The controls on the front of the radio use touch-screen technology rather than traditional buttons, so you can control all operations of the radio (with the exception of the hold switch) by touching the controls marked on the front panel.

Alan Ramsay asks: (2009-05-15 12:07:37)
Is there a kit / aerial so I can listen to it in the car ?
|
|
Chris says:
There are no official accessories for this radio.
If you want a portable radio which you can listen to in the car, we would recommend the Pure Highway.

Richard asks: (2008-10-06 22:13:44)
I've got a Bose Sounddock. Can I plug the Magicbox into the Sounddock using a cable with 3.5mm jack at either end so that I can use it as a room radio when I'm not on the move? If I plug into the headphone socket of the Magicbox will the connecting cable act as the antenna?
|
|
Chris says:
You can, but the connecting cable acts as the antenna, so you may have to position it carefully. How (or if) the SoundDock is earthed may also affect the reception.

Ian Charles asks: (2008-08-21 20:17:20)
Can you use alternative headphones with this unit, or are you restricted to the ones provided?
|
|
Chris says:
As with any pocket DAB radio, the earphones double up as the aerial. This doesn't mean you have to use the ones supplied, but some may be better as an aerial than others. Any earphones can be used, some may even provide better reception than the ones supplied.
