CHRONOS CD RADIO ALARM - NEW "Everything about this is as advertised, which is wonderful - the sound is amazing. Apart from one thing which is very annoying, especially if you are already in bed and want to use the controls....The player moves when you touch the controls, and so you are pushing it away from you, and still have not got enough resistance for the controls to actually be pressed in and change to what you are wanting. The thing is nearly off the bedside table ! The feet of the player should have been made to have more GRIP !!!" |

Exactly what I needed "I've been looking for a radio like this for ages, something that has alarm functions and a CD Player but that doesn't take up too much space. I had to wait for this one - seems that lots of other people were looking for the same as me - but when it did come it was great. I set it to make me up to a CD but then I change to the radio for the traffic reports before I got to work. The only way this could be improved is if you could wake up to your MP3 player but it's brilliant as it is." |

Pure Chronos CD "After endless research I chose this for its looks, features and size. The only problem during setup was siting the aerial wire, The manual advises hanging it vertically but this resulted in poor DAB reception, however, siting it horizontally solved the problem. DAB Auto Tune was excellent and I needed to refer to the manual only for the alarm functions, of which there are four. Ideal for 1. Weekdays, 2. Saturday, 3 Sunday, etc... There are so many buttons and functions but they are all useful ie. Setting the volume level for the Radio Alarm or a different display brightness for night time. An all round impressive bit of kit. Plus Points. Sound Quality, Build Quality, Remote Control, Amount of functions, DAB info and Clock on same display (unlike some), Ease of use (once initially set up). Minus Points. Aerial Wire siting, The need to hold unit whilst pressing some fascia buttons, Manual initially a little confusing." |
