ken asks: (2008-11-10 18:48:06)
Can an external aerial be fitted?
Is the 'bit of wire' adequate for all users?
If external aerial cannot be fitted and better aerial is needed, what model should I be looking at instead?
|
|
Chris says:
The wire aerial is not detatchable and an external aerial cannot be fitted.
In most medium to high signal areas, there should be no problem with reception using this type of aerial. the larger models tend to be the ones with the detatchable aerials, however they often lack the alarm features of a small model.

Graham Headleand asks: (2008-10-15 12:49:16)
Does this radio/alarm have a battery backup?
|
|
Chris says:
Battery backup is not required to keep the clock going, as it will reset to the correct time as soon as power is restored. The alarem would only fail to fuinction if the mains power is off at the time the alarm is due which is also the case with most battery back-up).
